Find your Math booklet (the one with the orange cover). We are going to skip one of the pages, so we can do something different today. So skip one page and we will do both sides of the next page. The front side says Ordering Numbers #1 and the other side of that page says Ordering Numbers #3.
Ordering Numbers #1: You are going to count the base 10 blocks and write the numbers under the pictures. In each line, take those 3 numbers and write them on the long line after the pictures in order from smallest to greatest.
Ordering Numbers #3: Take the 3 numbers and write them in the boxes underneath from smallest to greatest.
Max time: 5 min.
This work is in the booklet with the words Math Facts highlighted in yellow.
The next page that we will do today is Math Facts - Subtract by 6 and 7. Solve as many of the math facts on this page as you can in 5 minutes! Remember if you don't get the whole page done, that's ok!
*Remember to Subtract!!
Max time: 30 min
Take out your Language Arts booklet (the one with the green cover), and turn to the next page. At the top it says Consonant Blends and Digraphs. It has the page #29 at the bottom.
These page is about blends similar to what you have been working on the past couple of days.
Do Page 29: On this page you will read the sentence and pick the word underneath that is spelled correctly to finish the sentence. Colour the little circle beside the word and then print the word on the line to make it a complete sentence.
Max time: 10-15 min
Take out your Phonics Book (the one with the dogs on front).
Topic: Consonant Blends which is when 2 consonants come together to make a new sound. Todays blends are with the letter l (_l) like the word blend.
Do Page 104:
#1-4: Write the word on the line that solves the riddle. Remember that the answer will have a "l" blend at the beginning of the word. Sound out the word the best that you can.
#5-10: Find the word in the purple word box that finishes the sentence. Write it on the line! Re-read the sentence to make sure that it makes sense!
Max time: 10-15 min
Take out your Spelling booklet (yellow cover). We are going to skip one page and turn to the one that says "Sailboat Spelling" at the top. I know that you will know what to do on this page. You can also do the Unit#11 Word Search beside it if you want to. Can you find each word 3 times?
It looks like this:
