Complete the worksheet about the story in your Bible Folder (blue duo tang).

Topic: Tens and Ones
Find your Math booklet (the one with the orange cover). We are going to do the first page, both sides.
For each of these 18 math pictures you are going to count how many groups of Tens and how many Ones and write it underneath. Then you will write what number that makes in total. You were all doing a great job when we did this type of activity in class!

This work is in the booklet with the words Math Facts highlighted in yellow.
The first page is Math Facts - Adding 2 and 7. Solve as many of the math facts on this page as you can in 5 minutes!

Today we are going to read a story from our Open Court Readers. You will find it on page 278. You can either read it for yourself or you can listen to me read it by clicking here. I See Animals Hiding by Jim Arnosky.
In your Language Arts booklet (the one with the green cover), turn to the first page (pg. 53 and 54 at the bottom) and answer the 10 questions about the story "I See Animals Hiding" that we just read. Remember, you can always look back in the story if there is one that you are not sure of.
Max time: 10-15 min
Take out your Phonics Book (the one with the dogs on front).
Topic: Consonant Blends which is when 2 consonants come together to make a new sound.

Today we are going to do Page 101.
DO PAGE 101: Finish the words under the pictures with a consonant blend. ____r. It will be either tr, gr, fr. Now use those words to solve the riddles at the bottom of the page.
Max time: 10-15 min
Take out your Spelling booklet (yellow cover). We are going to practice our new spelling words today using the first page (you can do both sides).
You will need to find a dice. You can gently remove the back page from the booklet that says Unique Spelling to make it easier to see and use. Roll the dice and write the words in the box in the way that it tells you. I hope you roll lots of 3's so you have to write neatly. ๐ You are probably all hoping for a 1 or a 5!!!๐๐

Read a book! It can be a book you have at home or one that you brought home from our class Library!
Read your A to Z Home Reading books and write about it!
Do some writing in your journals.
